Buying Air Purifiers: Electronic Filterless Ionic Breeze Quadra, and HEPA
Buying an air purifier can be a tricky process, as every cleaner you look
at will claim to be flawless and one step ahead of the others. But the
more you examine your own needs the more you may lean towards one particular
model.
Electronic Air Purifier Buying air purifiers that are electronically powered is preferable, and the larger your room or home the larger the unit should be. Electronic air cleaners trap charged particles using an electrical field. These types of cleaners, like ionic models, produce levels of ozone, which is a lung irritant and can cause more problems than it causes, depending on the amount emitted. Anything that cannot prove itself to filter at the 99.97% rate or better, cannot be called a HEPA filter. Buying an air purifier doesn’t have to be complicated.
